Why I love this Snowy Village jigsaw puzzle...

This was the third piece of Lucy Grossmith's beautiful artwork I turned into a 1000 piece puzzle, and while I love the pretty houses and the many fun festive details, this jigsaw also has a deeper meaning. It was created after the 2020 lockdown to reflect the sense of release and joy in being able to meet up with family and friends again, even if that meant being outside and braving the cold to do so.

It's therefore the perfect Christmas jigsaw to enjoy when you get to spend time with your favourite people to celebrate the festive period and the turning of the year.

It may be called 'Snowy Village' but don't be put off by the snow! This is another example of why Lucy's artwork makes perfect jigsaw puzzles. There are lots of different 'types' of snow, lots of subtle changes in the shades of white, with plenty of details to point you in the right direction. This is not an easy puzzle but it is so beautiful and wonderfully rewarding, I love it!
