About Bloom Puzzles
How it started...
Having loved puzzles since childhood, I found myself returning to them at key points in my adult years. From being 2 weeks overdue with both my sons and almost too pregnant to move, to quiet evenings as a single parent, to the death of a dear friend, jigsaws have come to my rescue offering much needed mindful relaxation and the opportunity to lose myself in bringing order to chaos, one piece at a time.
The idea for Bloom Puzzles came from my Christmas tradition of taking time out during the hectic holiday period with a jigsaw, a cup (or glass) of something whilst savouring the scent of a seasonal candle and listening to some festive music.
Over the Christmas period in 2019, I realised this lovely, mentally relaxing combination of puzzles, aromatherapy and playlists would work just as well all year round, and would make the perfect thoughtful gift.
And then...
We all know what happened next. During the pandemic, Covid restrictions and home schooling, my plans took shape as the world slowed down and everyone remembered how fantastic jigsaw puzzles are.
It was a time for reflection on so many levels and it gave me the conviction I needed to start my dream business, despite having just turned 50. So after lots of product development and learning how to build a small business as I went, I launched Bloom Puzzles in 2021, combining my love of jigsaws and essential oils.
From the beginning it's been really important to me that my business has sustainability at its core, from focusing on environmentally friendly jigsaw and candle materials to manufacturing in the UK wherever possible (minimal puzzle miles) to giving something back.

So here we are...
Bloom Puzzles was created to offer beautiful moments of calm that soothe your senses in today's busy world and help to improve your sense of wellbeing. I aim to make every Bloom puzzle and gift set a pleasure to shop for, a delight to receive, and a joy to put together.
