Why I love this In the Wild jigsaw puzzle...

I knew as soon as I saw this beautiful detailed artwork by Helena Rogan, that it would make a wonderful jigsaw puzzle. There are so many different types of pretty foliage, and animals, some easy to spot (just look at those giraffe eyelashes!), some hiding, waiting to be found amongst the 1000 pieces. Each of these colourful sections can be worked on in turn to bring together the whole image, making it very satisfying to complete and a great jigsaw to puzzle in a group or when you have only pockets of time available to puzzle.

Puzzles were a lifesaver for me when I was pregnant with both my boys, especially in the later stages when I was almost too big to move and I was looking for something mindful to focus on (well before scrolling was a thing!). This jigsaw would make a lovely baby shower or mum-to-be gift; it offers both a creative activity for that period of calm before the storm, while you're waiting to meet your precious new arrival. Then frame the finished puzzle to make a gorgeous addition to the nursery decor (gender neutral so would work for both a girl or a boy) while it acts as a lovely reminder of those exciting days of anticipation.
