I have always loved essential oils, even training as an aromatherapist. I am fascinated by the powerful connection between our olfactory system and the therapeutic benefits to our minds and bodies of the essential parts of plants used to create the oils.

So I knew I wanted to use only aromatherapy candles to complement my puzzles, even though it wasn't easy to find a supplier offering the quality and range I needed.

Why I love The Potting Shed jigsaw puzzle...

This beautiful jigsaw puzzle is made from my very first piece of commissioned artwork for Bloom Puzzles; it was a big investment for my fledgling business, and therefore a huge risk. However, I'm really proud to say it's been one of my bestsellers since the beginning, and Amy Holliday, the wonderful artist, made the whole process so enjoyable that we've done it again, and again...

I knew Amy's style would be perfect for The Potting Shed and she was able to translate my gardening jigsaw design concept, and a rough sketch of the potting shed itself, into this glorious 1000 piece puzzle. She very patiently took on board all my ideas in her beautiful artwork, created the pretty border I asked for, changed the colour of the chicken coop (and a few other things!), rearranged the elements so that we were happy with the layout and there were absolutely no all-white pieces...

It's such a satisfying puzzle to do with lots of smaller elements to work on to create the big picture making it perfect to puzzle with friends and family.

There's also a donation made from the sale of every Potting Shed to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to help with its vital work, so these are not only jigsaws to make you feel good but also puzzles that help to do good.
